Safely transporting patients from bedside-to-bedside in an appropriate manner is the key to successful patient transfer. At MedFlight, we incorporate this philosophy into our daily operations.

Regardless of whether you call us to transport from a hospital or the scene of an accident, within minutes, our helicopter teams can be airborne and in route to your destination from strategically located bases throughout the State of Ohio.

Although we are committed to rapid and cost-effective transportation, our primary concern is patient care. Our aircraft are equipped with state-of-the-art technologies and highly-trained medical teams. MedFlight medical teams have extensive experience in intensive and coronary care, open heart recovery, cardiac catheterization labs, and emergency departments; advanced airway techniques and hemodynamic monitoring; specialized training in altitude physiology; extensive teaching skills for the coronary or surgical patient and specialized training in pediatrics.

Some of the patients we transport are:

  • Cardiovascular
  • Head injuries and neurological disorders
  • High-risk pregnancies
  • Trauma patients
  • CO poisonings
  • Hyperbaric chamber patients
