Mobile Intensive Care Unit
Services

Our mobile intensive care (MICU) teams transport patients safely and rapidly to their destinations.  To enhance our services, while decreasing our response time, we offer a team consisting of an experienced critical care nurse, critical care paramedic, and paramedic driver.  All are on hand when you call.  Nurses are EMT-A or paramedic certified, with extensive hospital experience.

Some of the patients we transport are:

• Cardiovascular, Myocardial Infarction, Unstable Angina

• Head injuries and neurological disorders

• High risk pregnancies

• Trauma patients

• Unstable patients when air transport is unavailable

• Stable patients requiring trauma center evaluation

• CO poisonings

• Hyperbaric chamber patients

• Returning patients closer to their home

• Physical rehab patients

• Organ recipients
