Mike Perkins

Mike serves as the Vice President of Field Operations for MedFlight of Ohio. As a member of the executive leadership team, he oversees all aspects of ground and helicopter operations, fleet maintenance, physical plant needs, supply chain management, and information technology for the organization.
Mike began his career with a county EMS organization in 1993. During his time with this 911 service he served as a paramedic, training officer, and field supervisor. The EMS service was ultimately privatized in 1999. Shortly thereafter, he was asked to serve as the EMS Director and remained in that role until 2008. During his tenure with the county service, he also provided management oversight for an ambulance company in Lodi, Ohio and a pediatric transport team in Akron, Ohio. In 2008, he became the base director and held a flight paramedic position for MedFlight 6 in southern Ohio. During that time, he also completed his undergraduate degree in Business Management. The base director position ultimately evolved into a regional director position and oversight of three helicopter bases and one ground base in southern Ohio. In 2015 Mike completed his Masters of Business Management in Healthcare Administration and was promoted to the role of Vice President of Field Operations for MedFlight.
Mike serves as a board member for MedCare Ambulance in central Ohio. He is a member of the America College of Healthcare Executives and is a Certified Medical Transport Executive, under the Association of Air Medical Services, where he also serves as an instructor. He has presented in multiple venues and regularly presents both regionally and nationally. Mike also consults nationally on a vast array of topics involving revenue stream, unit hour utilization, employee engagement, medical transport system design, and the importance of safety in the industry.
Mike resides in eastern Ohio with his family where he enjoys hunting, fishing, outdoor activities, and beekeeping.

Jennifer Costello

Jennifer Costello earned an undergraduate accounting degree at the State University of New York, College at Geneseo and became a licensed CPA shortly thereafter. She began her professional career in public accounting in the Washington DC area as an auditor with clients in a broad range of industries. She moved into the private sector to work for The Washington Post as an internal auditor. After moving to Phillips Publishing, she became the Manager of Audit and Consulting Services. At Phillips, Jennifer was responsible for performing accounting reviews, business process improvement reports and worked with Ernst & Young during the annual audits by performing internal control testing and preparing consolidated financial statement footnotes. Jennifer has been with MedFlight since 2014 where she has held various roles in the Finance Department and has been the Chief Financial Officer since March 2020.

Todd Bailey

Todd Bailey received his BA from Muskingum College in 1990, soon after beginning his career for the Smithsonian Institution’s National Air and Space Museum and Harvard University in the 1980’s. Prior to joining MedFlight in 1997, and completing his MBA at Franklin University in Columbus, Todd worked for OhioHealth and served as a legislative assistant for a Washington congressman. Todd has been involved locally, statewide and nationally through a variety of agencies, including his role as past president of Ohio’s Planning and Marketing Association affiliated with the Ohio Society of Healthcare Planning and Marketing, past Trustee President for the Hilliard Lakewood Homeowners Association, national lecturer and a member of the MedFlight Consulting Team, which assisted other medical transport agencies throughout the country. Todd currently oversees both MedFlight and MedCare Ambulance’s business development, social media, market analysis and media relations.

Tara Beebout

Tara Beebout comes with over 18 years of varied nursing experience. As a long-time ICU nurse, she has practiced in many different areas. Surgical ICU, Open Heart ICU, General ICU but her all-time favorite is Neuro-Trauma ICU. She has also served as a Nurse Administrator and Education Specialist.

Tara earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mount Carmel College of Nursing in 1994. She has been a Certified Critical Care Nurse through the American Association of Critical Care Nurses since 1996. Tara is a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and is a past president of the Greater Raleigh Chapter of the AACN. Tara is also a member of the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses and the Association for Nursing Professional Development.

Tara lives in Marion with her husband Jim and their two children.
